I finally did it! Orderd a Farmer.

Well I love SAKs and I have a bunch of them but i have never owned a Farmer. I have heard you guys talk about it so much and so I have just orderd one. I think I got a good deal on it, 19.00 with free shipping. So now all I have to do is sit and wait. Im so excited!
 
You're going to enjoy it. The farmer is my go to outdoors folder. Just the basics, no fluff, built tough and light enough to go virtually unnoticed.

SP is right, I have three spares. Did you get a Alox or plain Farmer. Either way - they are great.

My trio includes the Farmer as my small blade. I would like a locker - but it is fine. I think I may have one modded to add scissors and a small blade.

Well, I know I gave 2 for Christmas. Now I need a couple more, you know, just for reserves.:rolleyes:
 
You guys done it again! Now I will have to get a Farmer. I am a farmer, guess I need one. Wonder why I stay broke? haha
 
I also recently acquired an Alox Farmer (two actually) for $19 each. Amazon. I believe the store was Chelsea Watch. I love the damn little thing, it's now always on my person along with one of my more "tactical" folders.
 
They are like potato chips, you can't stop at one. I don't know what it is about the Farmer specifically, but once I got the silver one, I all of a sudden had to have a blue and a red one, then I needed a custom from scibeer... luckily it stopped there :)
 
I got a fancy blue one for Christmas.. It came with in a display box with a nice Vic LED flashlight.
 
Great folder. My favorite folder actually. I thought about a scibeer custom, having the bottle and can opener removed, but I use them too much for that. I am gonna order me an orange from Swiss Bianco, and a type 3 annod one from scibeer with a clip at some point. I need another blue one now though. Anyone have a source for a blue one, or maybe have an extra they wanna part with?

Dantor, is that last one a Farmer? I love it! Wish I could find one in that scale in green. Where did you score that one from?
 
That one on the right is an older one, before they changed the cross to the crest.
 
Yeah, the green and orange would be friggin' cool. I've never been a 'collector' of anything before, only a user, but something about those damn Farmers makes me want to have them all. I use them too, but still want the lot of em. :eek:
