I finally did it!

The Edge-Pro seems ok, but I just can't see a reason for a blade sharper than my Spyderco Sharpmaker will get my Spyderco (VG-10) Temperance.

Good point Glockman. I was able to get my folders decently sharp on the Sharpmaker but not as scary sharp as I would like. I find the EdgePro more versitle. It can sharpen a small SAK to a large butcher knife. I also like it because it puts an even polished edge on my Sebenzas. I figure that I've got thousands of dollars in nice pocket knives. I'm anal about getting them way sharper than I need and despite a lot of effort on my part, have not been able to get the kind of edge that I like on a Sharpmaker or Lansky. I just don't have the skill or patience to perfect my freehand technique either. Anyway, I'm pretty happy with it and that is all that matters.
