Great to have you back Bruce. Beautiful knife. The carving and filework is awesome. Wish I could do half that good with good eyes. Keep up the work it will help in your recovery.

rrr I mean, you should send that to me so I can hide it away from the eyes of the world, send that thing to me and I'll make sure no one sees it ever again ,, :D ;)

hehe ,, Bruce that is sweet for sure..not being able to see well is making you dig a bit deeper to make better Me thinks, or you can just do these in your sleep now. :):thumbup:
 
Thanks for the great comments guys....

I felt as if I was working more on instict with this knife.Just trying to do things that I really needed to see better on and felt like I was messing up all the time,lines would be blurry and I would go on ahead anyway.That is why some of my lines are not straight.But heck I gotta get back to making knives as I have been idel way to long and am now going crazy just taking it easy.

I finished up another one today,not great pictures but I will show it in another post.

It looks like you pulled it off! An ordinary maker would keep things simple but not our Bruce! Nice work buddy.
 
Extremly nice looking work!! All is impressive, but really impressed with handle and guard file work.

Thanks for all the great comments everybody...Ebbtide I do need new Glasses but the eye doc wont check them till the other doc gets me stabilized.Since I have gotten off one of the meds I am feeling much better,I even have another one almost finished on the bench now.
