i foraged a blade

That's a good looking Khukri!:thumbup: I really like the blade shape. Grind out the damaged section, put a handle on it, chop some wood and report back with more pictures.:D Very cool stuff....
 
There is a guy who tested an FFBM to destruction. It about wore him out, but you can see how even the mighty FFBM fared when striking concrete and metal. It didn't chip or break, but it did dent, roll, etc. Any knife will sustain some type of damage when repeatedly striking something close to the same density & hardness as itself.

but , i wanta know how a blade crash into a iron tube or some thing like that

I'm impressed. I can't fold a piece of paper in two evenly. Nice job on the knife.

hi, man , i made the blade with some skill named folding forged.i folded the steel many times , then the steel will have some patterns like damscus!!!!

i live in china , and i am a graduated student in liaoning university.
i have been this sub forums for 1 year. i really like the work of jerry.
i admire all of you .
but , you may know that , in china , we can not get big knives form aboard easily,cause the customs do not let the big blade pass.
so , i am still a vergin.:D

Nice grind on your knife. Just so you know I have had good luck sending knives to China and writing "Camp Tool" or "Camping Tool" on the Customs form and they have made it to the buyer with no problem.
 
What about small knives?

How big before they stop them at the border? 3" blade? 5" blade? 8" blade?

generally, we can get the small blades form oute side!!!!
the customs do not let the blade as big as sj-tac or hr pass.
