I found a knife on my doorstep ( april fools )

This was on my doorstep this morning, do you guys think I should call the cops ?
Have any of you guys ever found some rusty old knife on your doorstep before, and if so what did you do ?

Seriously weird. Seems well used. Do you have a gardener or maintenance guy who could have left it there?
If not, drop it at the Sheriff to have a record of it just in case something else happens later.

My dog dug up and old rusted clever about 5yrs ago. It was beyond saving some I cut it up with a grinder and got rid of it. Im guessing it came from the old house that burned down on this property years ago.

Well it doesn't look like anyone would've caught on, so April Fools.
My dad actually found this thing in the creek 30yrs ago and eventually let me have it when I was a kid. I ground on it one year to make it look scary for Halloween and have since been using it to dig up weeds in the yard.
It's just one of those old cheapo 10$ survival knives ( I believe ), but the interesting part is that it's made of carbon steel and I've only ever seen or heard of them in stainless Steel.
If you can believe it this is the best I could come up with for an April Fools post 😉

This is our April fools day prank today.

So many nice and helpful people on the highway and in the city waving, honking and even screaming.

It's empty, has magnets inside and holds on until at least 70mph
