I was looking up knifemakers in my region of the state and ran across one who HTs ATS34 like TKS. He ended up inviting me over to his shop on Saturday to show me a few thing while we heat treated some blades he has and two of mine free of charge. I only need to buy the foil wrapping that will be used for the HT. I am stoked and can't wait to go and watch a real knife maker in action, and pick up a few tricks on the way. His name is Don Robinson from Brownsville, TX.

May sure you take piece of paper and pencil with you and write-down all you can so you will remember some of the things he will be showing you. It will come in handy down the road. Its always good to take notes. Have a great time there and be safe in his shop.

Don's a great guy. In case you didn't know, he has his own forum at a different place. You could pop over there and say hi.

Take care, Craig
