I found the one, I'm done

I've been eyeing up the BM/HK 14210 thinking that it may be the "One". Tell me is the thumb stud real close to the frame? I dislike when is so close that opening is made difficult. No lanyard hole. No big deal. I have two Sebbies that I took the lanyard off of the first day. I may have to order it on Monday. I am a sucker for the "One".
 
yea ya.. I've found "the one" two or three times.. :jerkit: It won't stop the sickness, you'll find something wrong with that BM after a few months ;)
 
Yeah right, keep on dreaming. I have been in your shoes several times. This is THE everyday EDC! And found myself ordering THE Next One a few months later.

Admit you are infected with the BF virus.
 
i dont believe there is a "one" how many people do you know that only have "one" tattoo. or "one" peircing. Spare the fact they probally dont taste as good, but knives are are just like potato chips...

Bought a Strider SnG, and it's been the one for eight months.

Of course, even at the slightly reduced price from a previous owner, the hit slows me down, but when you get into the TI and G10 semi custom framelock range, it takes a long while for the market to put out better, too. Plenty of time to save up, which this po boy with three kids still living at home needs.
 
Congrats on the 14210, I have one and it's a great knife. I carried slip joints for years, so clip types and lanyard holes don't really bother me, I just carry in my pocket. I used to think the mini-grip's handle was a tad short, then I just got used to it and now I love them.

On the 14210, just a tweak of the pivot pin will find your sweet spot for opening. I like a tad of resistance on my knives.

Coop1957 - The thumbstud on the HK 14210 is close to the handle. It felt unnusual at first, but once I got the feel of it it opens very easily.
