I get it!! ^_~

I've hunted and fished since I could remember. I remember as a kid watching my dad and his friends gut/clean/quarter deer up and filet fish on the bank, prep fire so we could cook that fish. I just know that I had to have a knife at a young age so I could do all those things too!

Always been intrested in guns gear and such. Watching Nutnfancy knife videos got me liking knives more before I was just mainly in to guns but those videos really flipped on my knife switch.

If I wanted to splurge again for sure another XM-18 love the form and function of Hinderer knives.

What got you into knives, and what are your favorites? :]

Secondary question: If I was to ever one day REALLY spend some serious cash, which knife would you splurge on in a heartbeat and why? ^_^

Third question: How are you today? :]

1) 1960s television - Cowboys, Indians, Tarzan, Daniel Boone. Buck Knives.
2) Randall, Chris Reeve
3) Kind of grumpy today. :D

Welcome to the forum! Watch out for the picture-laden threads if you don't want to be tempted by tons of beautiful knives.

What got me into knives as a hobby was realizing the shear number of options there are now. I used to think of knives as purely a tool, like a utility blade or kitchen knife. A couple years ago I started looking at getting a better knife that didn't come from a hardware store, stumbled upon this site, and it was over from there. By this point I no longer balk at the idea of spending $500+ on a knife such as a Sebenza.

Hope you enjoy your stay, Sparkly. :)
