Well, I've wasted lots of money, and bought maybe two dozen knives, looking for that perfect EDC.
Of course, I still haven't found it. Now I'm left with lots of knives that I don't ever carry, one that I carry almost every day, and a couple that I carry when I'm in the mood.
My "almost perfect" EDC is the Spyderco Chinook II. My only reservation is that the handle is not completely secure in my hand, because it doesn't fill my hand well enough. The Chinook I had a wider grip, which was more secure, but it is much harder to open / close.
I'm starting to feel like I've wasted enough money looking for that "perfect" carry knife, and it is time to give up. (There should be a "Knife-aholics Anonymous.) For now, the Chinook II is the winner. Until something spectacular crosses my path, I think I am through actively collecting [aside from that Benchmade 630 that I have on backorder
].
Now the real question is, what else am I gonna start doing to waste time and money instead...
