It "can" go fast if you're not careful. In my opinion, dropping it all on one knife is Sstupid. 2k can get you a wonderful assortment of great users that will be far more valuable than something that just sits around. Most here will disagree.
What if I can afford "a wonderful assortment" of $2,000 knives? Will that still keep you up at night?

Plus, you should probably re-read that comment, I think you red it backwards

Ok but that's not the hypothetical question in the first post of this thread.

For me, probably one of these, But I prefer fixed blades. With a really nice custom leather sheath.

I'll be honest I was a strict folders only guy, but lately, with all the great knives suggested, I'm definitely digging a Fixed Knife more and more. What are these?

Not a tick
Seems like its bothering more than a bit that someone got 2k to throw on a knife like BLAM.
Coulda just commented "a wonderful assortment of cheaper knives" but you had to dig in.

Its ok, I've been there too, when I was in my early 20s, then I got a real job and it passed.

So are you going to suggest the wonderful assortment of knives you were referring to?
Real talk, I genuinely want to see, been out of the game for a while so I dont even know whats out there, A+ for pics

How right you are!

I am not a William Henry aficionado. Most are glitzy and with a price point much too high at any level of embellishment. About 80% of the examples on the WH web site exceed the $2K budget of this fantasy thread.

However, last month I picked up one of their lower end gent's knives for BELOW 50% of the website price. Found it on e-Bay. It is one of their more understated examples with wood scales and a subtly patterned Damascus blade. Pre-owned, it had signs of EDC pocket wear. Sent it in to WH and they did a CLA; replaced the missing lanyard bail, buffed out a few scuffs and gave it a factory edge for $40. It will go to our son next month for his 16th Father's Day.

Sometimes a bargain does come along. We can't buy 'em all but sometimes you gotta jump in.
