Okay, I know that everyone is probably sick of identifying balis, but I got a question about mine. Okay, this BM bali looks like a model 10, but I'm not sure though because the ones i've seen usually does not have the grind on the blade that reaches the spine. On mine it has the grind meet the spine. Sorry for the bad explanation.

Okay the other specs are-
3 in mirror polish blade
exposed pins
not countersunk holes

Thanks all

Yep its a 10. Does it say Benchmade or Pacific Cutlery (w/ some patent numbers) on the back? That will make the difference -- because there was a difference in the grinds on the drop point/utility blades made by the two (similar) companies.

Hope that helps-

Thanks mmtmatrix, it just has the balisong label on one side and says Benchmade U.S.A. on the back side. If I remember right, the periods meant it was made in hollywood?

Most of the Pacific Cutlery blades were hand ground and not the machine ground/polished variety that Benchmade makes.....

Dawkind is very correct.. also keep in mind that the BM 10 is a high ground blad (up to the spine) while te PC has more spine to it and is satin finish. Basically the BM10 looks liek a small BM48 and the PC 10 looks like a small PC 401
