I got a rather large package from ROWEN...

Congratulations! Mine were waiting for me Monday night when I got home also, but your pictures turned out much better than mine so I won't post my pics :) .

Since I have the 5 now with the bow drill divot in the handle, I'm going to have to get out and try to build a fire with it, I've never been successful with a friction-started fire yet :D .

Congrats again to you as well, also well earned!

I have used the 5's divot many of times, I can't say it is easier than other sockets, but keep at it. There is a learning curve to getting the right grip on it.

If you stop by the WSS forum over here and do a search for bowdrill fires, there is a ton of useful info to help you get that first coal. Good luck:thumbup:

Grats man! Awesome job. Enjoy the new blades. We do want pics when the bear goes down.

God bless,
Adam

I heard you could kill a bear with a Junglas just like wild hogs :D

Hold my beer and watch this shit!

ROFLMAO, that is some funny stuff there. I love being at a party and hearing that line, it means the fun is about to begin, and the ER is going to get another patient.

Congrats man. I really enjoyed watching your video and pics.
You are truly lucky to live where you do. It is a beautiful area.

Thanks everyone! Myself and a friend went out today, but it was really cold and windy...too cold to worry about the camera. I did get some good use out of the 5 and Junglas. We built a shelter and a fire and watched our dogs dig holes in the snow. The wind picked up even more so we decided too head out.

on a positive note, I think I might have created another ESEE addict. I let him use the 5 and he seemed pretty impressed.
