I got back to my mini chopper, updated.

Very Nice! The Orange it the Kydex looks great. Also Appreciate the usefulness of the multi position handle, Fantastic Package with made with a Superior Steel.

Wow, what a gorgeous piece of work! Stellar job! And one heck of a lucky friend!

Wow, I love that knife. I'd carry that puppy into battle. If I had, you know, battles.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the kind comments.

what does he think?
My friend has only seen the pictures, but he's very excited. It has some very minor scratches from the handle shaping and sheath making that I want to get out before I send it to him, so another week or so before he gets to hold it.

Hey Paul,

You make good points. I was originally going to bring the edge all the way back, but I decided I wanted to move the cutting edge away from the front finger a bit. The blade is long enough that I wasn't worried about losing cutting edge length. I envision most of the cutting happening in the last 3". I looked at a lot of choppers on google and liked the look of that huge choil/finger groove.

It feels good from a control perspective in a choked up grip, but probably isn't great for extended use that way.

That sounds terribly reasonable and rational. Thank you for the explanation.

Erik,
That turned out really nice brother! I know this blade has been a long time coming and it looks to be worth the wait. Great finished product.

Very clean!

Thanks, brother,

This is the first knife I don't want to let go of. But Texas awaits...
