Not a big deal but this was listed on Ebay with the Mora Knives. I bought one and when I got it today, CHINA!!!!!!!! Some fake Mora. I was not paying attention.:o

The thing was as dull as a spoon and I worked on it for a long time even with the belt sander. The cutting edge is about three times as thick as a More and I finally just convexed the edge. It is a darn hard Stainless steel. I am waiting to see what kind of edge it holds.

i would be mad. i am surprised that it is profitable for anybody to sell a mora knock-off. the regular moras are so cheap it would make just as much sense to sell those. oh well, maybe it will actually turn out to be a good knife.

That sucks!

If you can dispute it, do it! Maybe even list the seller in the GB&U here so no one else gets burnt.

Sorry to here that. At least it probably wasn't too expensive.

That's flippin' amazing. Why would someone conterfiet a $10 knife?

It is funny though.:D What, if may be so brazen as to enquire, did that "fake Mora" set you back?

:o Eight bucks. I thought it was just a different style Mora Clipper. I buy 99 percent of my Mora's from either rag weed or Ben's.

I have to go back and read the add to see if it said Mora or if I just assumed it was because it came up under Mora Knives. I will do some hacking with it and see how well it holds the edge that it took me forever to get on it.

I have a similiar knife I bought. It was a clone of a 510 but it had a blue handle. I knew it was not a Mora when I bought it, but it cost less than the shipping on a Mora. Threw it on the belt sander and had a heck of a time getting an edge on it.

Haven't used it since though, as it went in the glovebox. Mostly I figured it was a nice chance to play with the shape of handle.
