I got my FIRST knife!!!!..............

Not much wrong with paying retail price. Sure you could get it for less on the internet, but you can't inspect. I've gotten problematic Benchmades from mail order before in the past. Also, you support a local store. It is very rude to handle knives at the store and then run home to order from mail or the internet.

Oh Misko, $250 Canadian for a 720? You got burned. I bought mine from Mark at MJ&S knives not too long after this past Christmas and it was $90 US + $5 shipping, which worked out to about $140 Canadian.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not making fun of you, until I discovered all the on-line dealers I got burned a few times too($80 US for an Endura?!?!). For your next purchase, check out some more of the internet dealers, their prices are much better than anything you're gonna find in Toronto.

Hell, if you're having a really hard time finding something, or you're not sure about if the price is decent or not, email myself or one of the other Canucks. Hope this helps.

Few things are as annoying as buying something new and wonderful and finding people immediately lined up to tell you how badly you were taken. Too many people value money too much. After all, money is worthless unless you spend it.

Misko, if you are happy with the knife then you did not pay too much. There is a clear satisfaction to being able to buy what you want when you want it.

By the way, could you try to not end so many sentences with the word man?

May your addiction be long and habit forming. Good hunting.

Interesting - I'd bet that most of use here started with a small, inexpensive pocket knife, sometime before the age of 10 or 11. In fact, I'd bet that a GOOD number of the people here had a "Boy Scout Knife" as their "first knife" (and no, I don't have my chip and tote card anymore). This kind of knife (the 5 blade deluxe) is one of the most useful knives out there, and cost about $30. To this day, it's one of the options I sometimes carry
