I got my old fish knife clean....

Thanks again all, I sure love the way it came out... I was going to put it in the for sale box... But I think I'm going to keep it now... Lots of Buck History in this knife.... I just need a sheath for it... ITE

I wonder who first bought it... Did he/she hunt or fish or ??? ... Has it always been in San Diego??? and on and on and on....

Whenever I come across one of the older knives I ask if the seller is the orginal owner. A couple of times I was able to get them to write me a history of where the knife had been. Very Cool!
But then again, I also own an elk handled 119 from the 50's. According to the story I got from the seller, the original owner is still in jail for using the knife to kill his wife! YIKES!!!

Joe, wow ! ! ! I sure would like to see that 119, any Pictures??? If I ever find a older knife again I will ask more questions and try to get them to write me something about the knife... These old knives do have lots of history, that's for sure... Thanks again, Armand

Just buy the knife before you get the story.

Sometimes the price can go up as the story gets better.

:D
