I got to watch Thomas give my boy a free knife this morning. Then, I got to see my son swell with pride as he walked around Blade Show with a new Kershaw 3650 (Volt II) clipped in his pocket.

Thomas, my many thanks for this gift. I had a lot of fun this morning, finally getting to walk the show floor and put faces with names. You were on my short list of folks I wanted to meet. I'm glad you were in the booth when we came by. Honestly, I had planned to ask to see the 0777. Then, before you realized who I was, I was going to ask why the Microtech versions were so much cheaper. :D I didn't have the heart, but I hear Moose pulled a similar stunt.

Anyway, you helped make the show for me, and I wanted to stop in and express my appreciation. I forgot to take a picture at Blade, and my children and wife went down to visit relatives in Alabama. But I'll try to get a shot of my son with his new knife when he gets back.

That is really cool. I can imagine your son beaming all the way home. What a story he'll share some day about his early experience with Kershaw.

Wow, great story! Got a little misty eyed just thinking about your son and his new knife. Bravo, Thomas.

Yeah, the Mini Guyon was beaming, and he had every right to be.

Great show, and T Dubz is in a class above.

Very cool story. I was by the Kershaw/ZT booth about 5 times on Saturday. Thomas was only there once out of those 5 times and he looked busy so I didn't bother pestering him.

That is awesome. I am so happy for your boy. I bet you will never forget that moment. And that is something you two will be able to share for ever.

Great story and even better memory to cherish. Good lookin' out Thomas. Congrats Guyon and son.

Thomas has a lot of class behind that grouchiness, underneath that drunken, violent, gambling, leader of organized crime gangs persona he shows the world. :D

Actually, one of those descriptors is correct. Guess which one. :)

Hopefully your son will keep the knife and sporting goods interest going on down to his kids, and grand kids etc. That's a good thing IMO.

Thanks Thomas !

Joe

Great story! Glad to hear that you and your family had a nice time, and that your son got an awesome knife!
Way to go Thomas!

I got a little misty-eyed there.:D

Glad your son had this experience ... and sorry I couldn't attend Blade this year to say "hi."

It feels good when someone does something nice for us, but it is an amazing feeling when someone does something nice for your kid. Good on ya Thomas!

Practicing with the Volt II...
