I guess the micarta 25 is no longer a fairy tale.

I hate the 25 and all the previous pics I have seen on the inlayed 25 were pretty bad. Though somehow this photo (maybe its the angle?) makes it look "okay". I will always be a "21 guy" no getting around it.

Hmm... Not doing it for me, especially the bottom inlay. A 1-piece inlay would've been nice.

I know CRK 25 graphics are coming. I will save my $$ for them instead.

........and this will be my First Ever 25! Best excuse to finally get one if I do say so my self.

I would also like to see it look more like the annuals, since they aren't making then any longer.

I'm going to have to see more photos with different angles and lighting to make a fair judgment. i like that it is trying to be different, just not sure I like the direction it went in. The real test will be to see one where the scales turn oily black (like the Micarta becomes), at which point the shape of the design will become more prominent, and the knife will either look great, or suck terribly.

More photos anyone?

I don't know if more photos will make it look any better than it does unfortunately.

Uh oh...It's starting to appeal to me the more I check out this pic. Lol!

Like a few have said, this pic looks way better than the one from the CRK site. THAT one looks horrible. The inlays look a lot skinnier than these do.

Don't like it one bit. The 21 looks miles better to me. I am sure there are marginal reasons related to ergonomics, but from an aesthetics point of view, it is a missed opportunity.

I am not impressed, I guess I will have to wait on some neat graphics before getting my first 25

I'm holding out hope for a 21 styled knife with the thicker blade stock, bigger pivot, and the hole gone, but with the bushing and the lines of the 21. That would have been a true upgrade to the Sebenza line IMHO. The 25 is not. Just my opinion. Probably won't happen, though. :(

It can be difficult to make aesthetic/design judgements but this knife is simply a mistake.

I agree with most everyone here.
They needed to keep the straight cut inlays. The curved bottom and straight top inlay really throws me off. Also the ends aren't as clean as the 21 inlays, they just seem to round off at the screws, and the bottom inlay just trails off at the finger groove.

Thought they would have changed it after all the negative press from the first photo.
Only time will tell

I'll try to hold my final judgement until I can see one in person, but my initial thought is it looks like a hack job. Like someone found some self adhesive micarta and decided to make their own micarta 25.

Just ordered mine from knivesshipfree 3 more left there if interested!

^^ They are starting to grow on me, but they are also growing out of my price range as well.
