He reground a Hinderer spanto into a slicer and now it's way better than the factory slicer.
It's amazing what he can do, if you think that's amazing, use one of the knives he makes. It will spoil you.
I had him do the very same to my XM-18. I live like 20 minutes from his house, so I've seen many of his pieces. He does do great work. He was working on a killer looking survival bowie in L6 when I stopped by today. It looked so badass!

IMO, you increased the value by making it a high performance cutting tool. Something more knives should try being.
I agree. I never understood why clear improvements to knives are seen as reducing the value just because the knife has been altered.
