I had to put my dog down yesterday....:(

I'm sorry :( Losing a dog is just like losing a member of the family. She was a beautiful Great Dane, remember all the great times you had and the joy she brought you.
 
Great Danes have the best nature.. so big yet so gentle.. Xena was beautiful, sorry for your lost mate.
 
Sorry for your loss. I have a 14 year old Basset. When she goes I'll have to take a week off work.
 
Very sorry to hear that. I've lived with dogs for 55+ years now and have been there too many times. Every one of 'em that's gone has taken a part of me with them. My thoughts and prayers are wth you.
 
Sorry to hear of your loss. Had to do it too and still remember and miss every one of my dogs.
 
My condolences to you and yours. Been there too many times in my life. I hope your feelings of loss and sorrow are soon replaced by the fond memories and joy she brought into your life as well as the joy you brought into hers. Obviously for here to live that long as a dane she had a great family that took care of her.

Its overwhelming on how many of you posted here and showed your support.....I really appreciate it....

The worse part about her passing is I have 2 other dogs and my small one Buddy really loved Xena and really took care of her.....He would wash her eyes and lick her wound she had on her head......Now when he goes out side he runs around the whole yard looking for her....My other dog acts like he don't care....I wished there was a way to tell Buddy what happened....
 
I feel for you Rob. Losing a pup isn't easy, but I've learned that telling stories of fun times can ease the pain. Take care bud.
