These knives are completely in a class of their own. A BATAC LE? WOW, congrats on the score! I'm sure you will love that knife once you see how beautiful a nice thick .27" satin can be :-)

Thanks - will do! I'll have to take some pics as soon as I get it while it looks pristine, since this will be a true user - no safe queens for me! I'll be taking it out on a weekend camping/hiking trip and putting it through it's paces.. come to think of it, maybe I'll post before and after pics..:D

Somehow, I think I'll be hard-pressed to do much damage to this blade...:)
