I hate it when I forget to NOT carry a folder...

when I went to get my CHL in WA state I went to the sherrif's office which turned out to be in the same building as the courthouse and jail. I opened the door and the first thing I see is a guard and metal detectors so I went back to the car to leave my 2 knives there. another time I went to six flags and of course we had to walk FOREVER just to get to the gate...where the sheriff's department was checking for contraband. WTF, actual cops at an amusement park working the gate?!? had to make the long walk 2 more times...

I am in court several times a week, all day long. I hate being without.

The real problem is that the court has no security! So anyone can bring what ever weapon to court they want. IT is still illegal, and the signs are posted.

Guess it will take a shooting before the county changes their priorities. The really funny thing is that two officers "clear" the court room every morning before the court room is unlocked. Then, there are no security measures after it opens (no guards, no metal detectors, and nothing to stop anyone from bringing absolutely anything in!)

I don't carry anything into court, because it is still illegal, and won't ignore the law.

bah same thing happens here...you just get so used to it. Was going to a concert at a small venue (immortal technique :D) and forgot i had my para 2 had to stash it under the deck of some building was still there when i came out like 5 hours later!
