I go into the bathroom to answer natures call. Little did I know how close nature was.

But my BK2 swiftly dealt with the issue.

The damn construction next door is drawing them out. That's the second one I have seen this year. And never before in 33 years of living here.
( Bonus pics of my bk2 with a patina. That I ultimately couldn't live with. )

How do you like spiders now... hee hee... a spyderco in a becker forum....

Oh man that made me shiver, I'm a grown man but I still jump whenever a small bug crawls near me, no rest until it is either dead or out of the house. Spydercos make me shiver too..;)

What kind of scorpion was that?

Photos of spiders (not taken by me). If I saw these I would start shooting!!!

Oh yeah sorry about that. I live in Las Vegas. And I think it was a fairly harmless brown scorpion. Great picture guys. Just the pic of the Black Widow & Brown Recluse chills me.

It's not the spiders I necessarily hate, it's their webs. I hate when I'm walking, hiking or running and get a face full of spider web.

Here's a few more pictures to enjoy. The body of these spiders are about an inch long. They are about the size of my thumb from the tip to the first knuckle.

These are very common down in Texas, in forests that is, never knew what they are called but they sure are big, and the webs are HUGE, I've seen their webs stretch out more than 5 feet in between trees

Here in part of central Texas where I live, they have always been called "Garden Spiders".
Recently, I heard them being called "Banana Spiders" by a guy from Minnesota/Michigan/Wisconsin???? I forget which state he's from, one of these. :D:D

People are afraid of clowns but they don't knife them on sight.

maybe we should lol. With a 14 mo. old in the house. There is no way I'm letting it slide. Hell I don't even know how it got up there to begin with.

I dont mind spiders, they are way smaller than me as with all bugs so why worry about them, unless they are deadly venemous of course then they should be knifed and burned. Spider webs are all over my house/yard area this time of year and they are really irritating, so I kill alot of spiders out of spite:D Scorpions on the other hand are really cool critters imo.

I'm on the east coast of Australia ,I live with spiders not a day goes by with out seeing a spider you don't want to get bitten by, lots of red backs [black widows]and funnel webs and quite a few types of garden spiders. You get use to dealing with them there's no choice in the matter.
