I hate SPIDERS ! And anything like them..........

This false widow spider lives by my front door. Freaky looking spider, but not medically significant, lol.

My brother in law is a special forces marine and is really scared of spiders. Last time he was in town he told us about getting his a** chewed out for making too much noise during a training operation. He was leading his squad through the woods at night and walked right into a giant spider web. He says that he didn't scream but musta made some kinda noise cuz his buddies started calling him Spidey cat after that. He's in Okinawa now so there probably aren't any spiders in the jungles over there right? :D

I remember one kind of spider about 2 1/2 inches long that looked like one of them yeller naner spiders. They made webs about the size of a leopard skin throw rug. And if the spider never hijacked you, the cicadas would drive you mad with their screeching racket. They had cool, huge, fruit bats though, like the size of crows, and a snake called the Habu.

Funnel web spiders or Webbos as they are known :D are one of the worlds most deadly spiders -Atraxotoxin their venom is harmless to cats and dogs but not very good if you are a primate. They are possibly the meanest toughest looking baddest spider on the planet too. This playful little fella is being milked for venom.

These are what gives me nightmares!!! I've heard that there are areas in Australia that are completely inhabitable because of the concentration of these nasty things.

I was watering my plants in the Backyard and I happen to move the BB target practice cardboard and I found this behind it.

Hate spiders? Ehh more like fear some of em (I like daddy long legs. Let em walk on me sometimes before relocation). Walked into a HUGE Golden Orb Weaver web and startesd flailing like a sissy then when I doubled over to take the strands off my shirt, I see the biggest GOW EVER starting to shimmy up to my face from a web stuck in my hair. Screamed and flung him off, they are extremely juicy.

You guys are throwing up some good pics here. I never imagined this thread to grow so big lol.

The cobalt blue tarantula (Haplopelma lividum) is a tarantula species that is native to Myanmar and Thailand.

Are these spiders from where you guys live? Man if I seen anything like that! I don't know what you would do if any of those are in your home you have to kill it or bring it out right? What would be the way you guys handled that, me I'm not to sure, nothing like that around by me lol.

I live near lake Erie and although we do not have many venomous spiders up here we do have a lot of spiders in general. I just waged war with arachnids in my yard last week. Used 2 whole bottles of concentrate in a backpack sprayer and they are still around. I hate spiders with a passion and kill everyone I see in and around my house. They may have a place in this world, but it is not in my house or in my yard. Thank god winter is coming soon!

flip-flop, shoes, bug spray, spray can + fire. The best one usually is keeping the doors shut and house clean. That keeps most spiders away. And the ones that come in you typically find moving around looking for food. Instead of the spider posting up under your bed or couch waiting for other creepy crawlers.

And the blue tarantula isn't native to North America.

I leave huntmans alone . They aren't harming me but are eating flies and what not. Redbacks get stomped or killed by any means I have
