I hate waiting on materials

DOn't you hate it when you have an idea burning in your brain, but need the materials to make it happen. I have a cool finished blade I am waiting for handle material so I can finish it out.
I guess in a way it is good because then I forced to finish the other projects on the bench, which would get swept aside if I had my slabs now. I get easily side tracked and move in tangents, but that for me is where the fun is, in following creative urges.
But sometimes you just gotta work on other stuff too.
I have been shovelling and plowing snow for weeks, which gives me plenty of time to think about what knives I would like to make, or how to finsh out the ones I made already. Only problem is is that I am too tired to go to the shop at the end of the day!
Oh well there is my rant, and I won't snow tonight, so tomorrow I can spend all day in the shop working on a few blades, wishing I had my Culpepper bone stag slabs to play with!:grumpy:

I have a lot of everything squirreled away except natural handle materials! I need to just start buying them when I see them, but I would be broke even more than normal.

I too am waiting for material. I got two pairs of ironwood scales coming from IronwoodbyDon, and some electrical stuff for my VFD box. I hate waiting.:grumpy:
