it's not so much discontinued as never recontinued. KaBar doesn't have the facility to make them currently. it's too long for their machines. Camillus didn't crank out a terrible lot of them as it stands.

i'm somewhat sure Ethan would like to have it back, but see the above comment. just not going to happen until KaBar has the equipment, or they maybe hire it out. given the market? mmm, could go either way. 2011 may bring delights, or more whining. from me, whining ;) what i want isn't coming soon.

in so many words: because the owner of the board said so. they call it "deal spotting" and it can get you infractions or banned even.

read the FAQ, and the forum specifc rules - which you agreed to when you made your account but probably just skimmed by...

ok thanks alot... sorry for hijacking the thread for a sec. and i actually did read the rules but i guess i never saw the part specifically stating that site or i never made the connection ? eh anyways thanks for the help
 
I have a BK9 that I haven't even seen :( i'm in Australia atm waiting for my visa to be finalized and in the mean time a beastly chopper is waiting, lonely, with no one to slug it through a piece of wood.

any deal spotting, anywhere with urls is frowned upon. in theory, if you say "i saw on ebay", that's okay.

First post in Becker forum. I find myself wandering over here. Daddy needs a chopper.....
 
don't feel bad, I think my becker necker has infected me as well, thinking about the BK7 or the BK9 to compliment my Ka-Bar USMC
