I just want something to play with. I love Kershaw but I don't see anything that is out right now that sparks my interest. Any fixedblades that you recommend that comes with a sheath? I keep hearing BK2 is that any good?

I am ok with folders if they look awesome (and of course steel material)

Benchmade Mini Griptilian 556. It's a fun knife to play with, good looking, plus good quality! Can't go wrong with that purchase

Dat Spiderco

I am looking for a fixed but that spiderco looks amazing. I want the sheath to come MOLLE compatible.

I have one already, I am not really impressed, my Cryo came sharper from the factory and it holds an edge better.

Spyderco Tenacious
Spyderco Manix 2
Benchmade 550HG Grip

Those are 3 great choices below $100.

Spyderco Caly 3 or 3.5 in VG10. Fantastic knife.
Spyderco Endura cant go wrong.
Kershaw Zing or Oso Sweet are killer value. You could get both.
Kershaw s30v G10 Leek. Best Leek

Ok it is down to:

BK2 and Gerber LMF II

I want to use it for hiking.

Oh gosh, bk2, hands down in that matchup. the bk2 is a beast, the bkt community here on bladeforums is GREAT and Ethan Becker himself is a regular poster and easy to contact. Plus, kabar has a great warranty.

You could literally cut a LMF in half with a BK-2. :) Seriously though if you have it narrowed down to those two then the BK-2 is the way I would go for sure. Well I already have a BK-2 but you know what I mean lol.

Lightweight Thin EDC - Benchmade 530
Fun Flipper - CRKT Ripple
EDC - Kershaw Knockout
Fixed - Scrapivore

Edit: Didn't see above post, between those I'd choose the becker
