Thanks bulgron. It's ebony. I'm actually going to have the knife fitted with inner cut mammoth ivory. It should really compliment the blade nicely. Give it a little more character so to speak.

People seem to like that mammoth ivory. Do post some pictures once you get the work done.

Me, I'm waffling between a stainless steel ladder damascus blade with premium snakewood inlays, or a simple S30V blade with Mascassar Ebony. It's actually a very hard decision, as both speak different stories to me.

I suppose I should make up my mind this weekend, lest someone else buy them out from under me.

Of course, I'm also partial to bloodwood.

i got one TODAY ....

a large regular Sebenza has been my EDC for years but the bulk and weight
was noticed.

the Mnandi is so light and streamlined i forgot i had it in my pocket; KOOL

lol. Well! How can I ignore advice like this?

In fact, my Mnandi will be my Sunday-go-to-meetin' knife. My small Sebbie is by EDC. I've been considering a large sebbie for weekend wear, but honestly if I need something bigger I tend to jump all the way to my Mountaineer II.

So many Chris Reeves knives in my house. Really outta add a Mnandi to the mix. Just as soon as I can settle on one, that is.

I'll seek help for me addiction, later. Much, much later ....

Ah dang it!!!!!

After spending the last few days shopping for Mnandis online, I finally saw the one that I want to get. But wouldn't you know it, my one and only credit card went missing over the weekend and so I had to cancel it. Won't get the new one until tomorrow.

Rats. Bet someone snipes my knife before I can order it.

Are the Gods trying to tell me to deal with my addiction? I CHOOSE TO THINK NOT!
