That's the first step right? Admitting to yourself that you have a problem? Well my problem became evident with the influx of Sebenzas, I can't seem to stop, though this last one cost me dear, let an old friend go to a better place (a haven for butterflys), in order to afford this one that I think I will actually use....

Just got this today from James Mattis, beautiful Box Elder wood for the inlay and a working BG42 blade, as opposed to my pin Stripe Devin Thomas damascus bladed one that I also just received.....see what I mean?

Wanted to share this one, the wood is very smooth and has nice character within, thanks again James!

I really wish you guys would quit doing this to me. I really don't want more than 1 working knife, and I've already got it. This is not a sickness, this is not a sickness, this is not a sickness, damn, it isn't working.

No I don't
Yes I do...

Aw geez that's CRUEL..
I just showed that picture to the guy who sits next to me, we both just spent about a minute and a half staring at my computer screen going, "Ooooh.."
You guys are pure evil.

You guys aren't helping......oh, by the way the thumbstud is a dual, bronze coloured as is the back spacer

One thing I like, above the obvious beauty of the wood and design, is that the weight of the knife has been reduced by the routing out of the titanium for the wood inlay, so it weighs less that a normal small Sebenza, not sure by how much, haven't weighed them on a scale, but it feels lighter in comparison.

I would recommend this knife highly! Came razor sharp out of the box, of course!

Gary, I feel your pain

. I, too, feel I am developing a problem. I am eagerly awaiting my own small wood inlay, which should be arriving by the end of the day. I can't wait to get my fix

.

I'm going to have to contact you pretty soon for a sheath. The next step in this downward spiral.

Gary, I didn't know that they were finishing the blades like that on the wood inlays. As a matter of fact, I don't recall seeing any Sebenza with that blade finish. Pretty cool me thinks. I would offer you my sympathy but seeing how you now have two wood inlays (and I am waiting for my first!), FORGETABOUTIT!

It's only a mistake if you fail to learn from it!

That's a nice one, Gary. I'm pleased that I may have been able to contribute to it.

Thanks again for the beautiful sheath.

Thanks guys!
I don't feel quite so bad for my sins now.
The $215 I spent on the Randall yesterday
somehow doesn't seem quite so bad.
You guys always make me feel better about myself.

Still wondering how to explain this one to the wife tho.

That knife is beautiful. I am eagerly awaiting photos of the awesome sheath I just know you are making to go with it.

YOU have a problem? I sold my Large Damascus Sebenza the other day. It was amazing the feelings that I had watching that "stranger" walk away with "MY" knife. This is serious.
I thought my wife was going to kick me in the shin. I wasn't helping the buyer make up his mind at all. I didn't care if he bought it and was kind of hoping he wouldn't. Absolutly no negotiation and rock solid firm price and he still bought it.

I'm a dealer fer heaven's sake and I'm SUPPOSED to sell them but it's amazing how attached I get to these things. I really hated to see that knife go. I'll probably cry when someone buys the Wood Inlay.

And now, to complicate things, I just received my first two Kathathu's. I've been walking around the shop carrying one. It's that hard to put down. I'm in trouble....serious trouble.

What the heck is a kathuthu?. Does this mean there is another model i have to drool over while saving my pennies? Gotta keep telling myself it's only a knife, it's only a knife. AAAHHH it's not working.

A Kathathu is a double-edged dagger, for showing off with a 3x2 hollow grind, the skills of Scott Cook, CRK's grinding maven. A bragging piece. Maybe a very techie athame for some folks. Here's a pic I took at the Blade Show, pending getting the few I ordered in the door:

And, just for the heck of it, here's a pic of another "problem":
