I have lowered the prices dramatically on all 3 knives.

How do I bring that ad forward now to relist with a new post ???

To see if they're cheap enough now,,,

My son Spencer is about to get married, he and his brother have been loaded up with many great knives already.........I'm interested in giving him money - so I've lowered the prices in a big way !

Thanks, I'd appreciate the help

The term "bump" is most frequently used in sales threads to bring a sales thread up to the first page. However, BF has removed that ability from the exchange forums. There were too many folks who abused it.

There is a 14-day waiting period before one can relist a knife.

See rule 9 under "rules for sellers".

For price changes, the seller can edit the text of his post. The thread title can also be modified to show that there has been a price drop.

To edit a thread title, go to opening post in the thread. At the top right is "thread tools". Mouse over it and you get a drop down menu. From the menu, click "edit thread". That gives you a popup window from which you can edit the thread title.

Thank you,
Does that mean I should not post a current thread as well - indicating a Price Drop , without actually re-posting a whole ad with pics etc. ?

Correct, do not that. That would essentially be the same as reposting the knife yet with less information.

If you are making a change to the price within 14 days that it was originally posted, your only options are to change the thread title, 1st post, and or make a new post in that thread to notify the change.

After 14 days, you can make a new thread with the new information.

This keeps the sales forum on an even keel and let's everyone have their day in the sun.

Thanks, By making a new post in "that thread" does that mean Posting a Reply to my own Thread ?
(I am trying to get it. )
