I started working on a folder but since I started it I had to move and now I don't have the shop I need to complete it. I am missing the springs. I would gladly pay someone to cut me two springs a specific thicknedd and according to a template I will send them and when I get them fine tuned, return them to you for heat treating.
Someone let me know if you would be up for a job like this and if so, what would you charge?
Thanks in advance
Shawn

Hello, try filling out your profile so we can see if any of us are near you. ;) Just wondering why you arent able to do this? a few files, handdrill, and a small vice/clamp is all it would take. slow? yes, but do-able. heat treatment recipes can be found ad nauseum all over this and other sights on the internet.

I will fill out my profile, good idea. The reason why I can't finish it is because I have become homeless. I had to give up my whole shop. I was hoping nobody would ask why but since you asked, I figure a straight forward answer was due.
It is kind of hard to get anyone to deal with you when they find out that you are in that situation.
Anyhoo, thanks for the reply.

I'm sure there is a maker nearby you who would be willing to help you out, in their shop.
