I have a thing for CQC-7s...

Just got my first non-Benchmade CQC7, and I have to say the Emerson feels much more solidly made than the Benchmade. Great knife.

Have a waveless coated cqc7 on order. Just checked tracking today and it says it was "missent". I think thats USPS talk for "lost" but i'm crossing my fingers.

Sorry to double post but I had to update. My shipment was redirected and I had it the next day. First cqc7 and first coated emerson. Seems to take a little longer to breakin than my stonewashed Horseman. But here it is.

It's a beauty! And yeah, I have found that the coated blades take a minute longer to break in than the SW finished blades.

I managed to come across an HD-7, 7 years after it was made haha. I'll post pics once the beauty comes in the mail!

Yep!
And I hear that the HD7's will be in production again in the New Year.

Just acquired two more CQC-7 variations. I got me a limited run 7V with black blade and a an early 7A with bead blasted blade. The addiction doesn't stop...:D

Finally came in the mail! Here's my new, to me, HD-7 #333
Some people may be turned off by wear, but I find there is no price on History, no matter where and what this blade has been used for, as long as it keeps getting used it'll have much more interesting stories to tell
