I have this idea for a product that would be an accessory for folding knives. The only thing is, I don't know how to go about it. It's a product made out of plastic and I need someone to make them. Is there a company out there that makes knife accessories? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I know that you are trying to protect your idea, but without some slight idea of what you want to make, an answer is impossible.

Best I can suggest is do your homework and google things like:
injection molding
plastic injection molding
plastic part manufacturing
plastics manufacturing

Here is a list of manufacturers, http://www.ides.com/manufacturers/default.htm . Find one in your state and contact them. They might be able to suggest a company to do what you want.

You can go download e-machineshop and design your part in there then get a quote in different materials. They aren't the cheapest, but they do small runs and it's easy to get started. Once you have a general idea of what's possible, maybe you can talk to some other companies.

Is there anybody here that deals with custom plastic molding and designs? I need to ask questions regarding this subject and if they'd be willing to partner up with a small business venture concerning this topic. And when I say small, I really mean it. It's just a little idea I have that I don't even know is worth pursuing or beneficial that's why I need some input. Thanks.
