• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

New in the box for $100... Good price? They seem to go for about $250+

Is it worth it? Odds are I would resell it just to help pay for something else....

No, i understand the math, just want to be sure my research in price is correct. I am somewhat concerned about being able to sell it again.. I really dont have a need for it.

Thanks for the input.

The axe in question is a little specialized so, resale will be a little difficult. Axes like that do go out of stock so, when Gransfors USA is out of stock, IF you can find someone who wants one you can make some money on it. In this tough economic climate, I personally wouldn't speculate on this axe with my hard earned money.

For a $100 I would buy it and use it. For more money, I will shop elsewhere. I love the Gransfors axes I have but, Wetterlings are a lot cheaper and give me 90% of a Gransfors (when I get the good ones and not the cheap consumer grade Wetterling models).

Is this the wide axe with the short handle and offset head? If so, it is only good for putting flats on logs.

But maybe you are a rough-hewn sort of fellow?
