I just got another big batch of blocks back from getting stabilized at K&G.
As I get them cleaned up I will post photos of the batches here.

This first batch is Oregon Maple Burl that was dyed black and then stabilized.

Thanks loads Mark , just what I needed, more wood. Oh, well, I'll have to make something nice for these.

Thanks Stacy
I like it used as ferrule material with natural color maple burl handle for kitchen knives.

Only 3 blocks left.

That's right, I have BO again and I wanted to make sure that all of you know about it.
I'm not talking about normal BO. This is the ancient Ukrainian Black BO.
Don't believe me, well I can prove it.

This is BO that is so old that mammoths were still around and the pyramids were just a construction zone.

When I get BO like this it usually goes away in about a day.
But I am prepared. When the BO is gone, I will do a quick clean up and then I will have BO again.

Yes.......I am easily entertained and I laugh at my own jokes.

For those of you who are wondering what in the heck I am talking about.
These are 5460 year old blocks of stabilized Bog Oak from the Ukraine.
They have been professionally stabilized by K&G, and come with a copy of the carbon dating report for this wood.
I just finished adding a dozen new blocks of the Bog Oak to our web store.
If they are all gone before you get a chance to get any, don't worry, I have a few more.
When these are all gone, I will clean up another batch and add some more.

Hi I was recommended your site I'm in the uk would you be willing to cut blocks you have to matchbook scales ? And would there be extra cost I'm not asking about these ones , but your blocks in general thank you.

Any block can be cut into scales at no additional charge.
Just make a note during check out so it does not get overlooked.

I wish you would have been here to see Angi's face and subsequent laughter the other day when I told her that you posted how excited you are, on the forum--- to have BO! ;) :D

One of these days you will actually see her laugh, when you come to the thriving metropolis of CR, Washington...aka The Gateway to Mt. St. Helens. Yep, that's right, I figured out why you haven't come up here yet!!! Toooooooo close to le montaine! ;) :p

I WILL be getting more of your BO Mark. It's awesome BO. And as long as I don't breathe it in while work, your BO is really nice to work with.

(yea yea, too cheesy.... yet still somehow funny)
;)

BTW- That's pretty ironic... if you end up sending some back across the ocean. :)
