I have just ordered 2 knives,site said there was an erorr and didnt proccess but

My credit card has been charged as the same of amount of money knives cost.Can it happen this quick? and there was an error order didnt proccess.I sent an email to firm.Waiting for answer.What do u think this might be?
 
but in the future, make reputation and reliability one of the first factors you use in choosing a internet retailer. Using price alone will cause you headaches.

But then, I assume that you bought from someone who has not established a reputation.

Most, if not all reputable retailers will work with you closely and quickly to resolve any problems or misunderstandings.

Since you used a credit card at the worst you can reverse the charge -- and most likely they'll get your email and straighten it out right away. If there was an error ... the error reporting functions are just as likely to have bugs as any other part of software....
 
Most internet e-commerce sites use services that hit the credit card immediately upon receipt of the order. We don't use such a system. We hit the credit card on the day we ship. So I don't have much experience with these services but I do have an understanding of how e-commerce works. I think that, if your card was hit, then the merchant did receive your order. It couldn't logically be any other way. So the right assumption is that the order is in process. If you don't get a quick answer to the email, give them a call. I doubt there is a problem.
