I have made a discovery regarding cleaning micarta

Another one for using Dawn!!! Rub a dub, pat dry and hit it with the wife's hair dryer. Love Micarta and G-10 for ease of cleaning.
 
I just wipe the blades down on the bodies of my vanquished foes.....

And then once safely back in my castle :D if need be a dunk in the sink with some soapy water and a magic eraser for the stubborn grime... ;) No baby wipes around my castle... ;) :D
 
Thanks for these suggestions. Just tried Dawn, as well as Simple Green - on BATAC Micarta. Seem pretty equal in cleaning ability...Cheers.
