Holy CRAP! it is HUGE!!!

I borrowed a digital camera from work, click images for full size.

The 3/16" thick blade protrudes about 4.25" from the MASSIVE handle, the OAL is just under 10.25". Closed it is just over 6". The top of the "skull crusher" handle is 2" wide!!!

Love the latest SOG-K in your stable. Way to go troop.
Just be sure to post that picture once you've got the use of a digicam.
And if its not too much to ask, every angle possible would be refreshing indeed.

Krizzard, out.

Boy, Rob...So you have your "monster truck" of folding knives? It is an amazing knife, huh?

Can we call it a "T-Rex"? Big, old, and extinct (well, almost)? Buddy, we have you keeping "him" alive!

Oh...now that link was one of the best reads I've had in a long time!:D

We have the old picture with prototype information about a knife that might or might not even be released in 2003!!! :D :D :D Also, they claim to be out of stock. ;) And they're "expecting" 60 more of WHAT? might I ask?

2nd try...
First time too many pics...

Click for (full size) pics

Krizzard:;) Just for you - Comin' at'cha!!!

For size

Rob shared 13 of these pictures with me in advance. I think this should be fine (Rob, let me know if it's not), so let me offer a temporary treat...Please find Rob's awesome "TeamLeader Series" (some more images than shown here) in this directory for limited time. They are the ones labeled r1.jpg, r2.jpg, etc. (all the r# images).

I really need to share perspective. Knives in decending order:

JetEdge II: 3.75" blade
Cocobolo Stingray: 2.75" blade
TeamLeader: 4.25" FOLDING blade
Trident: 6.25" FIXED blade

These proportions just make your stratch your head! This side-by-side Trident/TeamLeader image shows the a big-bad fixed blade really look not all that big next to a folder...

I'll let Rob talk about his knife now ...

Aww my Gwad! BobbyB, you've out done yourself this time hands down. Folk's you've got to admit that its a rare treat we're having here. Before this I thought that I had fallen for Kylie Minogue but now thanks to BobbyB, I now know where my true heart lies. Team Leader? Oh Yeah baby! Thanks BobbyB, you're the best.

um... ummm... hmmm...

WOW

that's pretty much it... I don't have anything to say. I am gonna go and use my Tomcat II as a tooth pick now.

LOL BWUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH....:D
Once I get my Tomcat back from Bodycote (full BC!!!) I'll picture it beside the Team Leader for true perspective.
BTW I think the Tomcat actually has a thicker blade!

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but what are you having done to the knife at bodycote? Boron carbide? I've been trying to find out who to contact to get my BM42's blade BC'ed, and haven't had any luck so far.

Hey Draxil,

Bobby B can give you a personal reference. He's had a few things coated already and is an avid "spokeman" for Boron Carbide coatings from Bodycote. You might want to drop them a line directly.

Bobbie, will BC have to take apart the Tomcat to coat the blade fully or will they stop at the bolsters?
