I found them while looking for Becker scales on eBay, they were made by someone in Thailand (I don't think I can link to that seller's auctions, but there aren't that many Becker scales on eBay, shouldn't be too hard to find). I'm actually not sure about the type of the wood, it doesn't look like anything I recognize and the seller did not specify.
