  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I have RMD and 911. Next up... Rat 6 or 711?

I'll be happy if the R7 ends up having an R6 top-guardless handle and a 7.25ish" long, .22" thick, clip point blade with a rounded spine.

But..........I'll buy 2 or 3 regardless!

Why not get them both? I like the Rodent 6 more, but the Resiprene handles are nice when you're doing a lot of hacking. So I'd just get both and call it good :D

I have the 711 and it is a keeper. I do not have the r6, but have held one, and it felt and looked very good. As has been mentioned, like a bigger RMD, which I do have for comparison. The r6 fills the hand more than the RMD.

The question may be which to buy FIRST :)

Also have Rodent Solution, 1311, Rucki & Kill Devil btw :-)

I own at least one of every item you listed here save the 911. 711 rocks as a go-to campsite tool, great wood splitter. R6 sits unused since purchased shamefully.

I bought a custom Rat 6.. and a Team Gemini Light Brigade (or two). :-p I have a problem.

Well, there is this:

And the fact that R7 was announced at Blade'11...

True but the M-7 was announced 2006. I have waited and waited for the M-7 but to no avail. If the R7 is supposed to be coming out then I will wait for it cause I do like the Rodent Series better...
