My father gave me a daniel cannady bird&trout knife for my tenth birthday. He bought it at a local gun shop and there was no info on the knife when he bought it. I know a dumb decision on my Fathers part but it is a nice looking small knife. So i searched on the internet cant find anything about it. So if you guys know what steel it is I think its stainless. But thats just a quess i never got it wet infact i never used it the blades like a 1.5 inches at the most. Also do you guys know how much its worth its mint condition.

I found this:

Dan Cannady
Allendale,SC
Dan Cannady was employed with Westinghouse in Hampton when
he saw a book on "How to Make Handmade Knives". He decided
to give knife making a try and has succeeded beyond his
expectations. He has completed over 3745 knives. Mr. Cannady
has found knife making to be a continuing learning experience. He
makes a wide variety of hunting and fishing knives. He also makes
kitchen cutlery and a few folding knives
