I have to clean so much...

Honestly I wouldn't spray it with brake cleaner. Some carbon fiber is coated for looks from the little I know about the material. Then again, I could be way off. I know very little about it.

So let me ask this. Are the perforations in the washers supposed to be filled with grease or catch an amount of grease my eye can't see? I did take it apart this morning and cleaned out the excess grease. There wasn't a lot, what I did get out I put on the detent and detent track.
