• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

so i want a knife i wont care to much about and will still get the job done i so i was thinking about a ontario 12 inch machete. Do you think it would get the job done with minumal work i was usin a nomad today to cut 2-3 inch burdocks wi th today and it was a pain in the a$$.

i vote a bigger machete also. the 12" is good for packing and good for hard woods because it is stiffer than longer machetes of the same thickness...

wikipedia tells me you can eat the roots too, so maybe you could dig some up and try them...

but i don't know the plant to know if it is hard or softer...but i would say go with at least an 18" or 24" machete.

Honestly, every time I get a new item to be a rough use, I always end up looking for another to be used as my rough blade. It is a terrible cycle, I know. :D
