I have TRIED to hate Kai, but...

Stop looking at the 0801. You'll love it ;) and it will pair nicely with your 0620cf (as it does with my 0562)

not sure why anyone woult "try" to hate any company. Sure i have companies i dont buy from bit its usually because they dont make what interests me or the quality isnt up to my standards. But I dont hate any company. That isnt to say i dont criticise, but that is just me being honest.
 
Hate to add fuel to the fire, but.... take a good look at the 0770cf. Just an outstanding knife.
 
I also have never had an issue with KAI. I've had differences with some of their staff, but never with the company itself or the products that they make. Having said that, I dismissed the ZT product line for a long time not because there was anything wrong with ZT products but simply because ZT products didn't fit my needs. That turned around when ZT released the 0770CF and its variants. My hope is that the 0770CF will be followed by other "underbuilt" offerings from the "overbuilt" company.
