Nothing wrong with s30v, one of the best EDC steels available for all around work but XHP....:cool:

PERFECT NOTE...Thanks. I'm getting weary of S30V also. Of course it is good steel, but can't you find something else? M4, S90v, M390, XHP, 204P?

I completely agree, but I'm also keenly aware of how spoiled we are when S30V is what we're tired of. ;)

True, it used to be the upgrade on some knives. Although I'm not tired of VG-10 on the Japanese knives. I don't see myself getting tired of XHP either.
