someone mentioned earlier in that "you can get any infi you want, just have to pay for it" can someone please point me in the right direction to get ahold of a straight handled BM? is it strange to think about a certain knife more than your significant other?

"...of course you're right, these knives are overrated, I would buy any other knife if I were you. I certainly wouldn't buy any rare or custom Busses, or even their reasonably priced cousins over at Swamp Rat. In fact if you happen to come across such knives I would immediately alert us to their existence so that we might shield other such impressionablle souls from their false promises. You SIR have shown me the error of my ways..."

Learn to laugh at yourself friends. I've carried a Busse knife with me just about every single day since I discovered them in 1999, so just because I've only posted 20 times instead of 4,600 doesn't make me a newbie to Busse Combat knives. I've learned alot of great things reading the forums over the years, but never learned why you folks let a troll get under your skin. Ignore the post (I laugh at it) and move on. Sure, the troll might put down your favorite knife, but it's not like they called your first born child ugly! Laugh and move on.

Mogaert, Just because somoene calls a post and run troll a troll doesn't mean we're mad! We are just stating the obvious! Many of the responses were kind or humorous IMO. The character exposed in these threads has to do with posting something like that and then not even replying to the responses.

WVHILLS - There is a SHBM for sale out there now, too. It's just a matter of how high you're willing to go (that is a hint where to look BTW).

Broos that was very nice of you to let him know about an item you are bidding on. I noticed Randucci gave up quick. I am guessing this thing will hit $600 before it closes. Not bad for a user. My favorite knife ever:thumbup:
 
Relax folks,

Treat all questions like they are sincere.

Try being at a show answering the same questions in front of angry agressive people, you get used to showing them exactly what the knives will do,

This way you convert people.

At one show in San Diego I was set up with one table and Cold Steel was set up with ten tables, I have Cold Steel Sales guys at my table while on their breaks for most of that show.

All of them went home liking Busse knives (I think)

When people came along that thought/said out loud they wanted some thing less expensive, I sent them right across to the Cold Steel Booth.

I can't figure out whether it was nice or dumb - the more I mull it over I'm thinking the latter! They usually go too high for me anyway... I do love my measly one, too!
 
last time I checked you were the high bidder. but there is a couple of days left.
