I hurt myself

Thanks for the reminder Kile. I was taught to clamp things 30 years ago at high school. Every so often I am tempted to take a short cut the more I get away with it the safer I feel in the back of my mind I think look out.

Well thanks I am going back to the clamping. I always appreciate the warnings given on the forum. Sharing your bad luck story does everyone good.
 
Even with the damage done you may consider yourself lucky. A spinning blade can snap off the drill bit and become a flying razor into you, your pet, or worse. you can make your own clamp as described in previous post, or at flea markets, whatever.
There is always enough time to make it the second time. Some of my freinds are missing fingers, arms, feet, portions of legs, etc. The common thread to all their accidents; I should have taken more time.
