I just bought a Surefire 6P, did I just start another obsession?

Hey, grab a KL3 or KL5. If yaget a KL3 and want it brighter, send it to Chop on CPF for a quick mod =D

You wouldn't think that flashlights could be that addictive...they are. Went from being a Maglite fanatic to a SF 6P to now owning a SF Z3, SF L4, SF E1, SF G2 and an Inova X5 (with a GG&G head).

then an led head for another G2,
Is that one of those KL ones, or something else? Do they fit on a G2?

T.E. The cheapest batties I've seen are the Surefire ones right off their site, and a battery station special for cpf members.

KL3 and 5 fit on the G2 and other classic SFs
KL1 and 4 are for the E series
KL2 and 6 are for Millenium combat SFs

This photo shows a G2Z (although they also work on the G2):

M2 Shock Isolated Bezel
KL3 1W Luxeon Bezel
KL5 5W Luxeon Bezel

Learn from your mistakes in knife buying. Get what you want, don't compromise. All the money you spend on flashlights that do not completely satisfy is money down the drain. I've gone through a ton of flashlights before I ended up with the right combination for my uses. (1) Longbow Micra for small, bright, bombproof EDC. (2)SF C3 with a KT Turbohead for the shear power of it, (3)An L4 with two stage switch for wilderness outings and (4-8) SF G2's and Inova XT5's in both cars. This list, of course, does not include the essential small 5mm LED backups I have stashed in various (numerous) locations. Like knives, you generally get what you pay for with flashlights.

Hey Dizos, where did you get a two stage switch for your L4? That's all I'd need to make my L4 the perfect EDC. It's so close already adding a second lower light level would make it perfect.

TE, you're rapidly sliding down a slippery slope.
