I just found out my EDC is 100 years old, would you keep usin' it.

It's not like you're playing keep away with the Hope diamond, you obviously take good care of it and I've no doubts you will continue to do so. Use it, enjoy it, and write down its story so that whomever it passes to wont throw it out unwittingly.

Personally, I would likely use it lightly, just as a desk knife, but you can buy antique knives and use them if it's your thing, I would rather make my own antiques, meaning buy them new and keep them for a while.

Since that beautiful knife has already been modified, it will never be considered "mint" condition and thus worth a ton of money. That being said, it is in great shape, has a wonderful patina and I would keep on using it as you have been. Personally, I think that you did a great job on modding that one broken blade and made it usefull again. Good job Sir.

You were happy to use it before you knew how old it was
Now you can be happier now you know how old it is...

Keep using it! It helps keep your carbon footprint low :D Seriously, in the age of engineered obsolescence, it's pretty awesome to be using something 100 years old.

Just cut up a dozen Avon Boxes, it went through 'em like a hot knife through butter, i wonder if the blade was a forged blade and that's why it's so scary sharp and holds it's edge forever.

That is what is referred to as a "HOK" from another forum, and Honest Old Knife. Personally I think it is the best kind, good solid condition and has many stories to tell.
Two of the Queen Jacks that I carry from time to time are between 65-85 years old and going strong. Carry it and enjoy it, it deserves to be used.
