Remington knives tend to be on the low end of value -- whether new or collectible. You can look on Ebay and find a zillion listings. Sold sales on Ebay are a fair way to determine value.
This forum is not very consumer friendly. Most people take down the sales price after they sell a knife. That practice keeps information away from people who are not knife experts, making them vulnerable to the players.
You can watch the for active-listing sale prices before knives are sold here, and that may help.
Bernard Levine also has a guide to knives. You can find a copy on Amazon and maybe your public library.
